Youngstown – A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Mon. Nov. 2 at 11am in St. Anthony of Padua Church for Ann M. DiMuzio Sefcik, 80 who died at Select Specialty Hospital on Wed., Oct. 28. Ann was born July 25, 1935 in Youngstown to her parents Vincenzo and Anna Liberatore DiMuzio. She was a member of the church and the Itam post 13. Ann coached the Arco Girls Softball Team and worked on Fridays making Saint Anthony Pizza. She enjoyed visiting with friends, children, and grandchildren and listening to Italian music as well as spending time at Guilford Lake planning family reunions and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. While her six children were growing up Ann worked various jobs and when they were grown she worked for the Youngstown School Systems as an Instructional Assistant. She leaves her husband Michael of 60 years whom she married June 18, 1955, her daughters; Karen (Bryant) Dulany, and Linda (Greg) Koltas, her sons; Robert (Denise) Sefcik, Ronald Sefcik, and Mark (Cherie) Sefcik, 16 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her sister; Alice Vitello, and her brother; Gus (Faye) DiMuzio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Michael Sefcik Jr., her brothers; Carmen, Jim, Tony, Sam and Joseph DiMuzio and her sisters; Florence LaVolpa, Clara Freeman, and Helen Gennaro. Calling hours will be held from 2-6 pm Sunday, Nov. 1 in Schiavone Funeral Home.
