Constantino "Gus" Lepore

Liberty - Constantino (Gus) Lepore passed away on July 28, 2017 at the Liberty Arms Windsor House Nursing Home. Gus was born on December 6, 1929 in Youngstown. He is the son of the late Dominic and Minnie Donofrio Lepore. Gus graduated from The Henry Ford Trade School of Detroit, Michigan in 1948. Gus was a Korean War Veteran who served from 1951 to 1953 after which he married his wife, Congetta (Connie) La Marco on May 16, 1953.

Gus was an employee of U.S. Steel and a contractor and later was owner of “The Lodge” Restaurant in Austintown for 30 years.

Gus loved playing golf with his friends, the holiday dinners with his family and friends, and watching the Cleveland Indians.

Along with his wife Connie, he leaves behind two sons, Richard (Dena) Lepore and Robert Lepore; five wonderful grandchildren, Richard, Rachael, Alexandra, Jessica, and Anthony Lepore. He also leaves a brother, Frank and his wife Dorothy Lepore; a brother-in-law, Ralph La Marco, and many loved nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Vincent and his wife Mary Lepore; and a sister-in-law, Carmel Ann La Marco.

Services will be held Wednesday, August 2nd in St. Rose Church of Girard with visitation from 9-11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am followed by a luncheon.

Contributions in honor of Gus may be given to the family.
