Youngstown – A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Wed. March 25, 2015 in St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11 AM for Delores P. “Dolly” Naples, 86 who died the evening of Fri. March 20 in Hospice House. “Dolly” was born Nov. 17, 1928 in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Catherine Procick La Gamba. She was a homemaker who loved cooking and baking for her family especially, her granddaughter Victoria whom she and her husband raised, while “Cookie,” the family dog trailed behind for 18 years. She was her son’s shadow as he coached football for St. Anthony, St. Christine, and North East Catholic. Dolly was a football booster for Ursuline High School and bowler at Northside Lanes, who enjoyed vacations at Geneva-on-the-Lake on weekends with extended family and dinning with her sisters-in-law. She is survived by two sons; Frank of Boardman and James “Gee Gee” of Youngstown, granddaughter; Victoria Naples and great-grandson; Bryson LeMar Mosley of Youngstown, a nephew; Michael Dominic of Dana Beach, FL and many more nieces and nephews. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Frank G. Naples whom she married July 10, 1948 who died just 21 days ago on March 2, 2015, and a sister; Anna Marie “Ree” Dominic. Family and friends may call at the church on Wed. from 9:15 to 10:45 AM. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 5th and 8th floors of St. Elizabeth Main for their outstanding service and also, Dolly’s nephew, Dr. Sandy Naples and the staff at Hospice House.
