Youngstown – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11:00 AM Friday March 6, for Frank G. Naples, 88 who died Mon. March 2, 2015. Frank was born in Youngstown, Feb. 22, 1927, one of ten children of Michael and Victoria Buccoli Naples. He attended The Rayen School and was an avid golfer at several area golf courses. Frank was the owner of The North Side Service Station for 42 years and was a Superintendant for The Youngstown Water Department for 20 years, until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of Tod Civic Club, Saint Anthony Church, where he served as a financial clerk, and a US Army Veteran, who served his country under General McAuliffe in Germany, during World War II. Frank is survived by his wife; the former Delores “Dolly” LaGamba whom he married July 10, 1948 his two sons; Frank Naples of Boardman and James (Gee Gee) Naples of Youngstown, his granddaughter; Victoria L. Naples of Youngstown, great grandson; Bryson LaMar Mosley, nephew; Michael J. Dominic of Dania Beach, FL whom he helped raise, and many other nieces and nephews whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers; Sandy, Dominic, Rocco, Anthony, Lawrence, James, and Joseph, and two sisters; Theresa Menelle and his twin; Madeline Urban. Friends and family will gather on Friday March 6, from 9:30-11 AM in the church. Frank’s family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Sandy Naples, Dr. Robert Moser, and Dr. Medford Mashburn and staff of Hospice House. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley in Frank’s memory.
