June F. (Esposito) DeSantis

San Jacinto, CA - June F. (Esposito) DeSantis, 83 formerly of Youngstown, OH passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2015 at Hemet Valley Medical Center.June was born June 12, 1932 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of the late Dominic and Frances Pregi Esposito. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and graduated with a degree in Cosmetology in 1950.June was a beautician for over 40 years and though she had various other positions of employment, it was her love of Cosmetology that kept her current and practicing in her field well into her later years.June was an animal lover, mostly of the feline persuasion.  She even carried that over into her wardrobe and her home décor.  She was an excellent dancer and could be found kicking up her heels to the likes of Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Bobby Darin or any 50’s style music.The love of June’s life and the most rewarding accomplishment was her baby girl, Carla June.  They lived a lifetime together as friends and Mother and Daughter.  She sacrificed greatly to raise and nurture Carla and was rewarded with the same in return.  June was loved greatly and she will be missed, every minute of everyday, forever. June was a member of St. Brendan’s Church in Youngstown, OH before moving to California.She is survived by her daughter, Carla June DeSantis, San Jacinto CA, with whom she made her home. She also leaves two sisters, Mary Lou Mikula of Youngstown, Barbara McOwen of Canfield and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John and James Esposito and a sister Diana (Esposito) Shimek.A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown, OH at a later date.
