Youngstown - Margaret (Marge) Grace (Scaperotto) Pecchio, 88, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband of more than 65 years, Andrew R. Pecchio; her parents, Carmen and Elizabeth (Magliere) Scaperotto; a brother, Carmen (Butch) Scaperotto and a brother-in-law Anthony (Tom) White. She was a resident of Youngstown all her life and attended The Rayen High School. She wore many hats over the years, including dental assistant and manager of her husband’s business and later, amazing caregiver of her husband. The most important job to her, though, was not only raising her two sons, but also her granddaughters. She enjoyed gathering with her family in the dining room on Sundays, and when the family grew, in the basement. She was famous for her delicious brownies and spaghetti and meatballs. Her pride and joy were all 8 of her great-grandchildren and was honored to help care for Nicholas. Her great-grandchildren loved talking with her and they were all blessed to celebrate many occasions with her by their side. Marge is survived by her children, Ronald R. Pecchio and Andrew J. Pecchio; her four granddaughters, Dawn (Jason) Roberts, Andrea Pecchio, Jennifer (Ken) Troutman and Carla (Matthew) Bowen, her great-grandchildren, MiaSophia Roberts, Nicholas Muscarella, Anthony, Dominic and Sophia Alandt, Madison, Morgan and Mason Bowen; her sister, Florence White; her sister-in-law Catherine (Kay) Scaperotto and many nieces and nephews near and far. She will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 14th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church with a mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation in her memory be made to the NE Ohio Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation 30775 Bainbridge Rd Suite 210, Solon, OH 44139.
