Melba Diann (Bucklew) Smith

Melba Diann Smith, 65, died Tuesday evening, June 6, 2017, at home surrounded by family members.

Diann was born in Clarksburg, WV, to Hampton and Louise Bucklew on August 7, 1951. She worked as a private nurses’ aide and retired in 2008. She is preceded in death by her father, Hampton; three brothers, Timothy, Steven, and James Bucklew; and two sisters, Carmella and Sherry Bucklew.

Diann leaves her mother, Louise McCoughall; her husband, Wayne Smith; her three children, Calvin Bucklew, Wayne Smith Jr., and Debbie Smith whom she adored; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two bothers, Hampton Bucklew and Robert McCoughall; and four sisters, Carol Simpson, Becky Lawson, Elizabeth Jones, and Rachel Hruschak.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 6-8pm in Schiavone Funeral Home.
