Canfield—A Mass of Christian Burial will be said 10:00 AM Wednesday in St. Christine Church for Theresa Louise Navarro, 87, of Canfield, formerly of Boardman, who passed away Friday June 1, 2012 in Hospice House. Theresa was born August 8, 1924 in Youngstown, the daughter of Natale and Virginia (Gioglio) Nacarato. She was a graduate of The Rayen School, January class of 1943. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired April 1, 1985 from Valu King Supermarket as a head cashier. She was a member of St. Christine Parish and a member of  the Retail Clerks Union. Theresa was an avid Browns and Indians fan, enjoyed playing poker and was a member of a poker club, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Theresa leaves her husband of 68 years, Robert Navarro Sr., whom she married August 23, 1943, two children, Patti Kimock of North Jackson and her husband Mike, and Robert “Bobby” Navarro Jr. of Holland, OH, five grandchildren, Kimmie (Chuck) Kuharich of Boardman, Michael R.  Kimock of Youngstown, Erin (Dave) Sauer of Brunswick, Jason Navarro of Brecksville, and Nicole (Scott) Tokmenko of Cleveland. Theresa also leaves, four great grandchildren, Jenna Learn, Jillian Kuharich, Nicholas and Joshua Sauer, as well as one brother, Angelo Nacarato of Youngstown, two sisters, Betty Jean Jeswald of Youngstown, and Mary Lou (Sal) Musitano of Canfield.. Besides her parents Theresa was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Georgie Pavlich Navarro, and two brothers, Joseph R. Nacarato and Ralph A. Nacarato. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Schiavone Funeral Home where closing prayers will take place at 9:15 AM on Wednesday followed by a mass at 10 AM. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice House for the loving care and support to Theresa and her family during her stay.
