Youngstown - There will be a Funeral Mass said by Rev. William Loveless, Wed. Dec. 9, 2015 at 10 am in St. Brendan Church for Victoria Marsilio McCormick, 50 who died Dec. 3, 2015 at her residence. Victoria was born on Jan. 8, 1965 in Cleveland coming to Youngstown at a young age. She enjoyed working with special needs adults, first, with Siffrin Group and the past 15 years with The Purple Cat. She was a 1983 graduate of Chaney High School and Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture. For her family and clients she would knit, crochet, and cross-stitch. She was an ardent Facebook follower. Victoria is survived by her father, Vincent Marsilio and his wife, Judy, her mother, Maria Wood and her husband Bruce, two daughters, Margaret and Maria McCormick, two brothers, Joseph and Vincent Marsilio, a step sister, Natalie Cupler, and her former husband, John McCormick. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Michael and Josephine Ciccotelli and her paternal grandparents Joseph and Mary Marsilio. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Tues. at Schiavone Funeral Home and at 9:45 Wed. at the church. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are requested to The Purple Cat in Victoria’s name.
