April Marie Danta

AUSTINTOWN – April Marie Danta, daughter of Anthony J. Danta and Jeanette (Sarene) Danta, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
April was born April 12, 1955, and grew up on Youngstown’s south side. April was born of Catholic faith and attended Saint Dominic’s Church.
She was a fun, loving warm hearted person that truly loved life.
April attended the Leonard Kirtz School in her youth where she participated in track and cheerleading, and then the Harry Meshel Masco Workshop.
She loved music and animals and was quite fond of Alphie, the family dog at Victoria House where she currently lived for the past five years. April was known to be quite the dance queen during events.
April touched everyone’s heart with her friendly smile and kind, but feisty personality. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. April left a lasting impression to all.
Special thanks to Diane and Ed Reese, owner’s of Victoria House in Austintown, for their wonderful care and love they and their employees brought to April’s life. Also, special thanks to Danielle Russo, May Beth Smith, Sue Greco and the entire staff at Victoria House who provided a caring, loving atmosphere every day. Sincere thanks to care givers, Barbara Mitchell and Jackie Spera.
April leaves a brother, Anthony R. Danta and wife Lenora (Patrick) Danta; nephew Phillip; and niece Avianna Danta, all of Brookfield.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19 2012, at St. Dominic Church.
Family and friends may call at the church one hour before Mass.
Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.

I was very saddened to hear of April's passing. She was a delightful, mischievous presence in our painting classes at VH. She was dearly loved, and added so much laughter to our little art group. My condolences to your family.

There are no words to express how sorry I am to see such a sweet soul taken from her friends, family, and loved ones. April had a unique charm and character that drew everyone in. I truly sympathize with her family for they have lost a very special, very loved and irreplaceable angel. I will never forget the bond I created while caring for April...her bright sparkling eyes, big smile, and warm welcoming hugs always made my day. The halls of VH almost seem empty without her. I'm sure I speak for many when I say, we love and miss our buddy. Much love and condolence, Heather Lee Covert & children
