Lucille D. Rich Kesic, 86, of Liberty Township, passed away on April 26, 2018, peacefully at her home. Lucille, known to her family as “LuBell”, was born in Campbell, Ohio on January 19, 1932.
She was the daughter of Carl M. Rich and Mary Mercurio. She graduated from Campbell Memorial High School and attended Youngstown College.
She began working at St. Paul’s Monastery as a young woman. She later became the secretary, for over 30 years, of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Youngstown, Ohio. She was proud to work for Monsignor Branimir Radetic, pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul.
Her life, however was truly and totally dedicated to her children and family. Her incomparable and generous love for them was first and foremost in her life. She leaves her three children, John J. Kesic Jr. (Jill), Richard S. Kesic, and Lisa M. Vaturi (Dr. Shani).
She was so very proud of all her grandchildren, Jonathan (Rita) and Matthew Kesic, Aricka Sellers (Andrew) and Alexandra Kesic, Gabriella, Amanda Lucia, and Vittoria Vaturi. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Thomas and Bridget Kesic. They were all the light of her life.
She also leaves a sister, Norma Jean Sirak and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John J. Kesic, Sr., and brothers, William and Carl Rich.
For all those who knew LuBell, knew her love of shopping, especially on QVC and HSN. She will always be remembered by her generosity to others.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers, for their care, love, and friendship.
Monsignor Siffrin officiated a private Mass of Christian Burial held on April 28, 2018, at St. Anthony Parish in Youngstown, Ohio. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Schiavone Funeral Home.
