Liberty - A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 at 11am in St. Edward Church for Mary L. Verdream, 98 who died at her residence on Tuesday evening. Mary was born Feb. 12, 1920 in Youngstown, a daughter of Anthony and Anna Hentosh Demidovich. During World War II, she was a welder at Truscon and worked at General Electric as a secretary in the accounting office. She was a 1938 graduate of East High School and a member of the church. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Eliser; two sons, Michael and Anthony Verdream all of Liberty; a sister, Sophia Ceryan; a brother, William Demidovich; daughter-in-law, Lynn Verdream; grandchildren, Melanie Verdream, Shawn (Leah) Verdream, Stacy Verdream, Sara Eliser, Megan Eliser, Brittany Verdream, Anthony Verdream, and Shanay Verdream; great grandchildren, Paul Piergiovanni, Olivia Verdream, Elle Verdream, Giovanni Verdream; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents; son, Shawn P. Verdream who died in an airplane crash in Franklin, PA on Nov. 20,1983; her husband, Anthony P. Verdream whom she married July 19, 1948 died Jan. 2, 1990; son-in-law, R. James Eliser; grandchildren, Jason Eliser and baby girl Eliser; sister, Helen Peacock; brothers, Michael, Steven, and John Demidovich; and infant brother and sister, Georgie and Dorothy Demidovich. Family and friends may call one hour before the mass in the church. Burial will be in Belmont Park Cemetery.
