Youngstown - There will be a gathering of family and friends at Schiavone Funeral Home on Sunday, April 15th from 4-6pm for Philip D. Tesner, 62 who died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in University Hospital. Philip was the son of Walter and Martha Pruzowski Tesner born on June 28, 1955. He was a 1974 graduate of The Rayen School and worked as a laborer in the steel industry and most recently worked at Walmart. After his retirement at the age of 59, he became a self-styled entrepreneur. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1673 and Sons of Italy. He was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and Poker. Philip is survived by two sisters, Wanda (Jerry) Drahos and Sue McClimans; niece, Kelly; and nephews, Bert, Dennis, and Tyler. He was a great uncle to Taylor, Paige, Liam, Dennis Jr., and Ethin and was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie; and brother-in-law, Harvey and will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to the funeral home to defray expenses.
