To The Oblate Sisters and Family of Sister Teresa,

You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your love one. May she rest in peace. My family was blessed to have her teach my children at St. Anthonys (Rocky, Joseph and Annette). Most recently I had the privilege of seeing her when I visited friends at Liberty Healthcare. Her spirit will always be in our hearts.
Always, Viola Castor

Soon Jehovah God, the God of all comfort will provide permanent consolation for you when he will "wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more!"(Revelation 21:3-4)jw.org

I met Sister Teresa four and a half years ago. She was teacher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McDonald when my husband John attended. He had made a wooden toy and took it to school for show and tell. Sister Teresa thought it was great and showed it to everyone. What a boost to a 10 year old boy’s self-esteem! He couldn’t wait for the next year when she would be his teacher. She was transferred to teach in Canada the next year and he never knew what happened to her. Forty years later we discovered that she was at Liberty Health and visited her. She and I became friends. John and I prayed the Rosary with her on Saturdays and later attended Mass with her in the activity room. She was a teacher, friend, prayer partner and Spiritual Advisor. She told me about growing up in Minnesota on the family farm and of her time teaching children. We will miss her but know that she is in a better place. May she rest in the loving arms of our Lord.

We are blessed to have known Sister Theresa. She made a major impact on our lives and in our hearts. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. All of our love and prayers. Dennis and Vicki. Some of the things etched in my memory forever, as a student , were the daily trips to the hallway for what she referred to as disruptive behavior. And then the soon after apologizing to the class because Mother Superiors footsteps began to echo through the hallway as she was coming up the steps to our classroom. It would have made a bad situation worse !! And the one thing that was a blessing is Sister Theresa did not incorporate a wooden yard stick, but merely a one foot rule !! She was a great mentor and teacher, and in later years a very dear and beautiful friend. She is now in the presence of our FATHER for all of eternity. Love you and miss you. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. Dennis
