A private showing was held Friday, April 12, 2019 at Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown for Wayne F. Ellis Sr., who died at St Elizabeth Boardman Campus.
Wayne took one last ride on his way home Thursday, April 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 13, 1958 in Madison, the son of John W. Ellis Sr. and Carol Burgess/Schultz.
He worked many years as a shift foreman for Sidley Concreate in Ashtabula County and most recently, as a service tech for the north east area of Bentech.
Wayne married his soul mate and love of his life, Cindy Fitzpatrick on July 20, 1984.Together they were the proud parents of three children, Rhonda (Patrick) Adams of Canfield, Wayne (Misty) Ellis Jr. of Austintown, and Carrie (Tony) Shawen of Columbia, SC.
Wayne was a proud Papa of eight grandchildren, his little Harley peeps, Miranda, Shawn, Faith, Peyton, John, Abby, Jason, and Amelia.
He was a brother to four awesome siblings, John (Carol) Ellis Jr. of Huntsville, AL, Laura Ellis of Reynoldsburg, Meredith (Rob) Bradley of South Carolina, and Holly (Jon) Myers of Seneca, SC
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, John W. Ellis Sr. on November 21, 2005, baby sister, Kimberly C. Ellis in April 1961, grandparents, Wayne and Grace Burgess and Fred and Hellen Ellis, a step-father, Clark Allison of Rockhill, SC and his Harley cruising buddy, David Fitzpatrick of Lisbon, and took with him many memories of all his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special loving in-laws.
Wayne had a love for his Harleys, eagles, Rock N Roll, and the USA. He loved to tour on his bike and tinker in his garage. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and time spent with his family.
Wayne climbed on his bike one last time and road off into the sunset with the wind in his hair shouting "HOOTIE HOO" to all he left behind.
