Annette (Benedis) Kalapos

Spring Hill FL – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed Nov. 25, 2015 at 10am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Youngstown for Annette Benedis Kalapos formerly of Euclid Blvd. She was born in Youngstown on Aug. 29, 1927 to her parents Nicola and Bianca Ferrara Benedis. Annette attended East High School and was a retail clerk for various stores in the area including Value King, JC Penny, Mc Kelvey's, and Grays Drug Store. She was an avid sports fan and for many years she enjoyed season tickets to both the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns games. Annette leaves her husband George Kalapos whom she married June 2, 1956, two children; George Michael Kalapos of Gainsville, FL and Michele Kalapos Bobinski  of Olmsted Township, OH, a daughter in law; Lori of High Springs, FL, four grandchildren; Aaron Bobinski and Michael, Nicholas, and Bianca Kalapos, a great grandchild; Conrad Kalapos, and her brother; Nick Benedis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Dominic and Daniel Benedis, her sisters; Mary Lou Van Dyke and Linda Marie Rodriguez.  Calling hours will be held from 4-6pm on Tues. Nov. 24, 2015 in Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown
