Cathleen Susan Drombetta , 61
Cathleen Susan Drombetta went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown with her family and loved ones by her side. She was 61 years old.
To those who knew her, Cathy was vibrant, caring, and always the life of the party. She gave herself to loving, serving, and helping other people, especially her family. Cathy learned to play the bagpipes at age 50, a hobby she greatly enjoyed and one that reflected her boisterous and lively personality. Her special love of the Christmas season will be greatly missed and eagerly carried on by her loved ones. Cathy attended Old North Church in Canfield and worked for Humility of Mary Health Partners (now Mercy Health) for over 40 years. Cathy's life was truly well lived.
Cathy leaves her husband; Peter Drombetta of Youngstown, parents; Jack and Joanne Driscoll of Austintown, son; Christopher (Sarah) Drombetta of Boardman, grandchildren; Emma and Topher Drombetta of Boardman, son; Matthew (Lauren) Drombetta of Vienna, daughter; Jennifer Drombetta of Akron, brother; Jack (Terri) Driscoll of Williamsport, brother; Mike Driscoll of Austintown, and dearest friend; Theresa (John) Carr of Boardman.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 21 from 5pm-7pm and Saturday, November 22 from 10am-12pm at Old North Church in Canfield. A memorial service celebrating and honoring Cathy's life (no party poopers allowed!) will be held at 12pm on Saturday at Old North Church following the calling hours.
