Deborah "Debbie" Jean Roshetsky – 60
Boardman – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in St. Luke Catholic Church on Saturday January 10, 2015 for Deborah "Debbie" Jean Roshetsky, 60, of Boardman who passed away Sunday at her home.
Debbie was born January 20, 1954 in Youngstown the daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Alice M. (Graneto) Roshetsky. She was a graduate of Liberty High School class of 1972 and attended Youngstown State University. She had worked as a waitress for several restaurants throughout the Youngstown area, most recently at the Pub in the Southern Park Mall. She was an accomplished Abstract Artist showcasing her work at many local art shows. She was of the catholic faith and a former member of St. Charles Church. She was strong in her faith and prayed the rosary daily. She had a heart of gold and was always putting others and their needs before her own.
Debbie leaves to cherish her memory one sister Mary Alice Swartz and her husband Randy of Canfield, a niece Malia Swartz of Canfield who was the light of Debbie's life, and one brother, as well as many friends and other family.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Friday at the Schiavone Funeral Home, where a Cursillo Bible Vigil will take place at 7 PM. Friends and family may also call from 9 AM until 10 AM Saturday at St Luke Catholic Church 5235 South Avenue in Boardman. Burial will take place following the mass in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Help Hotline Crisis Center in Debbie's name.
