Dominic Sarno

Youngstown – Dominic "Dago the Legend" Sarno, 68, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 in Omni Manor surrounded by family.

He was born in Youngstown on June 11, 1953 to his parents Dominic Sarno and Joann Blanche Riley. "Dee Dee" was always on the go. He loved to travel, take long car rides, listening to music. He enjoyed the ocean, the mountains and his cars but to him, there was nothing like spending time with his family.

He lived for his grandchildren and great grandchildren and will forever be remembered by his children Anna (Rene') Rodriguez, Dominic Sarno, and Christina Sarno and her mother, Donna Sarno all of Youngstown; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Diana Grove of Youngstown; two brothers, Raymond Riley of Niles and Charles Riley of Girard; The mother of his children and loving friend, Virginia L. Patterson; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Sharon Weimer; Aunt Janice Grove; Uncle Raymond (Butch); and Uncle William Carter.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 3-6pm in Schiavone Funeral Home.
