Youngstown – There will be a gathering of family and friends Tuesday, June2, 2015 from 5-8 pm in Schiavone Funeral Home for Dorothy A. Underwood, 77 who died Friday evening. Dorothy was born Feb. 1, 1938 in Hamlin N.Y. and was the daughter of James and Ella Kruger Delano. She graduated from Hilton High School in Hilton N.Y. and came to this area in 1970. Dorothy was a homemaker and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed family activities and Bingo at area churches. She is survived by a daughter; Barbara (Francisco) Gonzalez, three sons; Anthony Carlin, John A. Carlin, and Bobby (Katie) Underwood, four grandchildren; Angie, Eric, Adam, and Frank, three great grandchildren; Miley, Roxy, and Isabella, and a brother; Walt Delano. Preceding her in death were her parents and a son; Dougie Underwood. A prayer service will be held by a Hospice Chaplain at 8 pm on Tuesday.
