Elizabeth "Betty" (Baudile) Del Bene

Elizabeth (Betty) Del Bene, 93, passed peacefully on October 18, 2022, at Hospice House.

Elizabeth was born September 17, 1929, in Youngstown, the daughter of Larry and Josephine Tisone Baudile. She graduated from The Rayen School in 1947 and sang in The Rayen School Acapella Choir.

She was a secretary at D'Antonio Plumbing and Heating. She was a devout Catholic and prayed the rosary daily. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua and sang in their choir in her younger years.

She enjoyed crocheting, card clubs with her sisters and bus trips to casinos. She bowled in a bowling league until the age of 87.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and was a caretaker for many family members.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Denise (John) Butler, granddaughters Natalie Welsh and Lindsay (Devin) Nash, two great-grandchildren, Norah and Daniel Nash and step-grandchildren Jack (Jill) Butler and Kate Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patsy Del Bene whom she married September 16, 1950, her son, Patrick Del Bene, her brother Dominic Baudile, and sisters Jennie Bart, Margaret Lattanzi, Helen Latronica, Virginia Terchila and Nancy Ponzio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 21st at 10am in St. Anthony of Padua Church with an hour of calling prior to the mass.
