Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Tondo) Lee

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Church for Elizabeth J. Lee, 78, who passed away late Thursday night. Elizabeth was born in Youngstown on June 20, 1945, to her parents, Nicholas and Helen Lambert Tondo. She was a graduate of Girard High School and enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing bingo and cooking. Elizabeth is survived by her children, John (Donna) Lee, Cynthia (Rob) Tingler, Peter (Pam) Lee, and Capri Toney; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Aaron) Lee, John Lee, Nathan Lee, Elizabeth (Travis) Davis, Cassandra (Rob) Lancey, Robert (Amanda) Tingler, Michael Bansberg, Alexander Tingler, Dominic Lee, Cody Lee, and Troy Toney; her 17 great grandchildren; and close friends, Betty Tondo, Carol Lewis, and Vickie White. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, John H. Lee whom she married December 22, 1962 died October 17, 2017; a daughter, Teresa; infant baby Lee; and brothers, Nicholas and Patrick Tondo. The family would like to thank the staff at Windsor House for the exceptional care they took of Elizabeth. Family and friends will gather from 9:30-10am at the church, 1155 Turin Ave. Youngstown, OH 44510, with entombment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
