Elizabeth K. Jacob, 75

YOUNGSTOWN ­ A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday, Feb. 25,
2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Church for Elizabeth K. Jacob, 76, formerly
of Coronado Avenue, who died Friday morning at Park Vista, where she was a
resident for five years.
Elizabeth was born on July 29, 1937, in DeSmet, S.D. She was a daughter of
Gustave and Kathryn Renner Jacob.
She graduated from DeSmet High School in 1955 and St. John's School of
Nursing in 1958. Later, she received her Master¹s Degree in Guidance
Counseling. She was an educator at St. Elizabeth School of Nursing for many
years.
She is survived by a brother, Gus (Maryann) Jacob; a sister, Karmel (Bob)
Gole; several nieces and nephews; her adoptive family, The Bowman's; and a
special friend, Karen Greenlee.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. and from 9 to 9:45
a.m. on Monday at the Schiavone Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made to the giver's choice in her name.
Burial will be in South Dakota at a later date.
