Erna M. (Rosner) Leasure

Our beloved mother, Erna Leasure, was chosen by God to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven on December 29th, 2021.

Erna was born in Hallein, Austria on May 18, 1934, married at Mirabell Palace (German: Schloss Mirabell), in Salzburg, Austria and came to the USA in 1955. She is a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

With her professional dressmaking-seamstress education in Austria, Erna enjoyed designing her own clothing patterns and creating incredible styles which included evening gowns to dresses, suits, coats and children's clothing.

Erna was also an excellent cook and baker; especially when it came to preparing Austrian specialties.

She was a wonderful mother and dedicated homemaker. Erna stands in our hearts as a reminder of strength, perseverance, and love. Though we will mourn her loss daily, we know we will be reunited in time.

Erna leaves behind her children, Sylvia (Frank) Filaccio and Robert Leasure. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Erna's daughter and son-in-law would like to thank the entire ICU team at Mercy Health St. Joe's, the nurses/staff at the Hospice House for their excellent care as well as the Antonine Sisters Adult Day Care, North Jackson, OH for their dedicated and compassionate care. Special thanks to the incredible support of friend Cindy LaBoda.

There will be a committal service on Monday, January 3rd, 2022, 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 248 S. Belle Vista Ave, Youngstown, OH 44509
