Ernest E Reiner

Ernest E. Reiner, 53, passed away in Lowell, Ohio on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

He was born September 17, 1971, in Youngstown, to his parents Beverly B. Miller and Ernest E. Reiner Sr. He served in the US Army, earning the rank of E3 Private 1st class and he was awarded an expert marksmanship badge.

Ernie was a truck driver that enjoyed anything truck related, such as going to truck rallies and truck races. He was a lover of life and had a laid-back mentality. He enjoyed playing cards and taking pictures of all his travels.

He is survived by his daughter, Kerstain (Kyle) Hanson and their children, Tripp and Evee; sons, Ryan and Eric Reiner; step-daughter, Kristen (Tim) Gibson and their two sons; his siblings, Darla Burkett, Thomas (Mel) Hampton, Nancy (Rick) Grissom, Patricia (Dave) Griffin; and Billy Reed; his significant other, Margaret "Peggie" Starkey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ernie was preceded in death by his parents; stepdad, Jack Caputo; and brother, Robert Hampton.

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 5-7pm in Schiavone Funeral Home for visitation and military honors.
