Evelyn J. (Knoll) Walsh

Youngstown - Former Moosic, PA resident Evelyn J. Walsh, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2016, at Park Vista Retirement Community in Youngstown, Ohio. She was born on December 18, 1930, in Akron, OH, one of six daughters born to the late Francis and Madelyn Walsh.
Evelyn is survived by one sister, Madelyn Socciarelli, of Youngstown, OH; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends at Park Vista. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Mary Gordon, Margeurite Walsh, Patricia Olanovich, and Germaine Tigue.
Evelyn was a loving and gentle soul, and will always be remembered for her ever-present smile and great hugs. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery in Avoca, PA.
Evelyn's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Second Floor Nursing at Park Vista and Senior Independence Hospice for the excellent care they gave her.
