Frank P. "Kagers" Donadee, 88
Youngstown – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Mon. Oct. 20, 2014 at 11 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church for Frank P. "Kagers" Donadee, 88 who died Thurs. afternoon in Sunrise of Poland. Kagers was born Aug. 7, 1926 in Youngstown, a son of John and Philomena Rossetti Donadee. He was raised on Robinwood Place in Brier Hill. As a recipient of the Brier Hill Italian Fest Man of the Year for 1999 he was very proud of his Italian heritage. He attended Tod School, Hays Junior High School, graduated from The Rayen School in 1947, and attended Youngstown College. Frank was employed by Youngstown Steel Door from 1946-1952. He served as precinct committeeman for precinct R in the city's third ward from 1954-1959, while functioning as financial secretary for Sons of Italy post 1038. He was appointed supervisor of inspection for the City of Youngstown from 1959-1963. In 1963, Frank began working for his brother at Youngstown Pneumatic Concrete. He left in 1978 to start a company of his own. Today, 5-D Construction Company is still operated by his four sons. Frank was a member of St. Anthony Church and Kof C Council 274. He is survived by his wife of 57 years; Janet Partington, sons; Robert (Georgann), Richard (Barbara), John, (Brenda), and Tom (Karen) Donadee, grandchildren; Frank (Catie), R.J., Macy, Tiffany, Tom, Jacob, and Olivia Donadee, great-grandchildren; Isabella, Ava, and Franklin Donadee. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; John, sisters; Nora Guido, Antoinette Fleming, and Carmel Macciocca. Friends and family may visit from 4-7 pm Sunday and 9:45-10:45 am on Monday at Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
