Gerald E. Clemens, 75
WHEELING, W.VA. There will be a funeral service Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at
11 a.m. at the Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown for Gerald E. Clemens,
75, formerly of the Youngstown and Girard area, who died Thursday, Jan. 17,
2013, at Wheeling Hospital.
³Jerry² was born May 1, 1937, in Youngstown, a son of Gilbert J. and Ruth E.
Evans Clemens.
While he lived in this area, he was a chef and owned Clemens Restaurant in
Girard in the 1950s and later Clemens Catering House.
He attended Ursuline High School and enjoyed square dancing.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and
great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brothers, Dale, Donald,
Robert and John; and a sister, Mary Lou Altshular.
Family and friends may gather one hour before the service, from 10 to 11
a.m., at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Belmont Park Cemetery.
