Gloria Jean Kohut, 67
Youngstown- Gloria Jean Boccieri Kohut 67 passed away Thursday December 20, 2012 in the company of her family. Gloria was born Sept. 10, 1945 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Clementine Sperago Boccieri. She was a 1963 graduate of Ursuline High School. After high school, she worked at Atlantic Mills, General Motors, and Republic Steel. In 1980, she began her 33-year career with her family business, as a caterer for St. Mark Church. Gloria and her husband Robert were married in Holy Trinity Church and their marriage lasted fifty joyous years. She was a dedicated and devoted catholic and member of Mary Comforter of the Afflicted. Gloria loved to cook and was proud of her Italian heritage. She was delited to make people happy and was blessed to have many friends. She is survived by her husbnd, her children; Robert (Janine Wilcox), Mark (Belinda), and Brenda Kohut, her three grandchildren; Kayla and Mark Kohut and Natalia Rafidi, and her brother; Andrew Boccieri. Family and friends may call Wednesday Dec 26 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday Dec 27 from 9-9:45 a.m. at Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
