Harold Ray Waller Jr., 40

BERLIN CENTER ­ A prayer service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the
Schiavone Funeral Home for Harold Ray Waller Jr., 40, who entered into
eternal rest early Saturday morning.
He was born in Youngstown on July 12, 1972, to Harold R. Waller Sr. and
Elizabeth (Liz) Hrehor Waller.
Harry grew up in Austintown and graduated from Fitch High School in 1990,
where he was a member of the marching band. He was an Eagle Scout and 4-H
member for 19 years and served on the Jr. Fair Royal Court.
Harold had a life-long passion for animals. He raised and showed rabbits and
was a member of Penn Ohio and the ARBA. He was a member of the American
Shetland Pony Club, Mahoning Valley Pony Breeders Association, Tri State
Mini Club, American Haflinger Registry, and the AMHR/ASPC where he was a
carded judge. Harold was also a judge for the Columbiana Pocket Pets and a
Canfield and Lisbon Fair Exhibitor.
Over the course of several years, he worked as a trainer at Thomas Stables
in Alabama, Live Oak Arabians in Louisiana and Stachowski Farms in Mantua.
In addition to his work with animals, Harold was also a distinguished and
spirited dancer, as well as a certified clogging instructor. Most recently
he was employed by Sheetz Service Station.
Harold leaves his parents; a sister, Lisa (Jeremy) Wilson; nephews Logan and
Gaige Wilson, to whom he is also Godfather; his aunt, Myrtle Hrehor; his
uncle, Greg "Homer" (Ellen) Waller; great-aunt Donna Santoro; and many
cousins and friends.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Homer Waller Sr. and
Mary and George Hrehor, and several aunts and uncles.
Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 21, from 6
to 9 p.m. Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in
Canfield.
