Ida B. (Brooke) Zaccone

Youngstown - A Christian Burial Service was held at 10am on Friday, at Schiavone Funeral Home for Ida Belle Zaccone, 87, who died Sunday at her home. Ida was the daughter of John and Sadie Snead Brooke and was born on Jan. 12, 1929 in Youngstown. She retired from The Dollar Savings & Trust Co. in 1990 as a loan officer. After her 1947 graduation from South High School she married her husband Edward S. Zaccone on September 9, 1950. They spent 66 years together and enjoyed traveling and games of chance. Ida leaves her husband, a sister-in-law Mildred "Toots" Brooke, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Richard J., George A., and Wayne L. Brooke and her sisters; Mildred H. Dominic and Luella F. Wolverton. Burial took place in Calvary Cemetery.
