Janet Irene (Perrine) Tartara

Janet Irene Tartara 73, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 2, 1951, in Columbus, Indiana, one of three children born to Richard Perrine and Martha Stoymer Johnson. Her siblings are Betsi (Mike) Konic and Paul (Sue) Perrine.

Janet obtained her LPN training through General Hospital in Akron and worked for various hospitals and nursing homes before her retirement.

On June 9, 1979, she married the love of her life, John Tartara in Tallmadge, OH and together they had three children.

Janet has lived in Monroe Falls, OH, Pueblo, CO, Akron, OH, Oil City, PA and Youngstown OH for the last 11 years. Her many joys of life included canning, gardening, sewing, embroidery and loving animals.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years; her children, John Tartara and wife Jonelle, Stephanie Tartara and boyfriend Jose Morris, Heather Tartara and fiancée Nick Rice; seven grandchildren, Hanna, Zach, Joe, Brayden, Bryce, Aubree and Sophie; and three great-grandchilden.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, with her mother's passing this past April.
