Jeanette A. (Kanaan) Thomas

Jeanette A. Thomas, 84 passed away at home on September 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette was born January 10, 1937, in Youngstown, to her parents Deeb and Mary Michael Kanaan. She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards and baking, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Jeanette was a member of St. Maron Church, the St. Tobias Club and the Basilica & National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon 25 Club. She leaves her children, Lynne (John) Nastase, Debbie (Don) Santisi, George (Nancy) Thomas, Brian Thomas; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Odette Martino, Patricia (Mike) Policy, Paulette Drombetta, Marion Bailey; sister-in-law, Jackie Kanaan and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sied E. Thomas whom she married May 5, 1956, died October 19, 2019; sister, Delores Joseph; and brother, Sam Kanaan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 25, 2021, in St. Maron Church followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
