Joyce K. (Strickland) Bruno

Joyce K. Bruno, 73, died unexpectedly at home on March 24, 2022. She was born in Ovapa, West Virginia on October 12, 1948, to her parents, William and Roberta Hanshaw Strickland. After graduating from Chaney High School in 1966 she married her husband, Patrick "Patsy" Bruno on October 14, 1967. Joyce worked at A&P, Rhiel Supply, as a merchandiser for several area stores and Home Depot in Niles. She had a love for animals and bonfires, was an excellent cook, and had a knack for reviving house plants. She enjoyed taking walks in Mill Creek Park but, enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce leaves her daughters, Michele Bruno, and Lisa Bruno; grandchildren, Reign (Jay) Bruno, Carlten Bruno, and Giovanna (Faith) Bruno; great grandchildren, Kai' Marie Henderson and Amarah Tinker and her dogs, Bailey, Ace, and Neko. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patrick who died September 14, 1995, and her fur baby, Chynna.
