Alexandria, VA - Lena A. Ruggiero, 89, formerly of Youngstown died at her home in Virginia on June 27, 2015.
She was born in Youngstown on April 3, 1926, a daughter of Phillip and Neva DiTommaso DiPiero, Lena was the beloved mother of son Dana (Maria) Ruggiero of Arlington, VA; son Stephen Ruggiero (deceased), daughter-in-law Brigitte Ruggiero of Greensboro, NC; and daughter Donna (John) Monacci of Oak Hill, VA; a doting grandmother to three granddaughters, Julianna Monacci and Alexandra and Christiane Ruggiero, sister of Tony DiPiero (deceased) and Laura Cherol, and sister-in-law of Nancy DiPiero and Joe Cherol, all of Youngstown.
Family will gather to remember Lena with relatives and friends on Fri. July 3 from 10-11 a.m. in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, OH 44510 with a mass of Christian Burial to follow immediately afterward.
Following the services, friends may join the family for an internment at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, in Canfield.
