Youngstown- Funeral services will be held October 3rd, 2026 at 9-11a.m. at Schiavone Funeral Home, 1842 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44504 for Loretta Bares, who went to the Lord late Saturday night on September 26, 2026.

Loretta was the daughter of Virginia Bliss and Elmer Bliss Sr. She was born on May 1, 1973 in Philadelphia. Loretta came to Ohio when she was little and grew up here. She had graduated from Rayen High School class of 1992 located in Youngstown, Ohio.Loretta enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching the Eagles play, loved watching her CSI and Law and Order, playing Monopoly Go and doing other random things to pass the time.

Loretta leaves behind her husband William Bares of 30 years. She had cherished her three children, Jason Book Jr., Lisa Book, and Alex Bares.Loretta had came from a big family leaving behind two sisters, Etta (Chuck) Collins and Tammy Bliss, and four brothers, Elmer Bliss Jr., Joseph Bliss Sr., Richard Bliss Sr., and Jeffery Bliss.She had many nieces and nephews and was also a grandmother too.

Loretta will be reunited with her parents, her older brother Alfred Bliss, her grandmother, her aunt, her cousin Carol Cogan and other cousins and others who will be waiting for her.
