Marie A. "Babe" (Giampietro) Menelle

Liberty - Babe went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on October 22, 1937 in Youngstown to Joseph & Mamie (Lilli) Giampietro. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 57 years, Tom Menelle. She also leaves behind her children; Teresa (Jim) Kinney of Youngstown, Marie (Jim) Standohar of Girard, Lori (Rodd) Meyer of Howland, and Tom (Renee) Menelle Jr. of Howland. In addition, she leaves her beloved 15 grandchildren, her brother; Joseph G. Giampietro, and her sister; Isabel Mancini and was preceded in death by her parents. Babe loved golf and she was a dedicated homemaker who loved cooking, baking, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Friends and family may call Thursday, December 8th from 5-8pm and Friday, Dec. 9th from 9-9:45am in Schiavone Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10am in St. Anthony Church. Interment will take place at Belmont Park Cemetery.
