Mary Colaprette, 93
GIRARD A Mass of Christian Burial was said Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at 10
a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown for Mary L.
Colaprette, 93, formerly of Red Oaks Drive. Mary died at Assumption Village.
She was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Youngstown, the daughter of Dominic and
Concetta Serafine Colaprette.
She was employed at Gasser Chair Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1986 as an
assistant foreman in the metal shop. She was a member of the church, its
senior citizen group, Liberty 55 plus, Harmony Club, and the Cardinal Drive
Neighborhood Club. She also enjoyed traveling, bingo and bowling.
She is survived by a daughter, Marylu Chufo; a niece, Nancy (Larry) Greene
with whom she made her home; and several other nieces, nephews, many
great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Frank Colaprette;
three sisters, Georgia DeCola, Antionette DeCola and Helen Joy.
Burial was at Belmont Park Cemetery.
