Mary E. Marino Conroy Bonhoff, 89
Youngstown – Funeral services will be held Friday Dec. 19, 2014 at 10 AM in Schiavone Funeral Home for Mary E. Marino Conroy Bonhoff, 89 who died early Monday morning at Assumption Village. Mary was born Aug. 31, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Roy and Helen May Foley Marino. She was a homemaker who had worked at Westinghouse during WWII in Newark, NJ, The Bright Spot Restaurant in Kearny, NJ, and then moved back to the Youngstown area in 1967. Mary enjoyed roller skating, being a participator at horse races, loved music (especially Elvis), and most of all, the bonds of family. She is survived by five daughters; Mary E. Conroy of Boardman, Lorraine (Jim) Gaffney of Orlando, FL, Patricia (Steve) Borovitky of Youngstown, Barbara Loto of Canfield, Marilyn (Dave) Heginbotham of Youngstown, one son; Walter (Pam) Bonhoff of Ft Myers, FL, 19 grandchildren, numerous great and great great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law; Colleen Bonhoff of Boardman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Fred Conroy whom she married in 1945 died in 1949 and Walter J. Bonhoff whom she married Sept. 9, 1951 died Dec. 27, 1987, two daughters; Helen Knopick and Virginia L. Brown, a son; Robert Bonhoff, and two grandsons; Richard Knopick and Joseph Loto. Family and friends will gather Thurs. from 4-7PM at the funeral home. A special thank you for all the love and care provided to Mary by the Assumption staff and Hospice of the Valley.
