Mary K. (Posterli) Powell

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Tuesday Feb. 12, 2019 at 10am in St. Columba Cathedral for Mary K. Powell, 79 who died Saturday at her residence with her loving family at her side. Mary was born on July 29, 1939 in Youngstown and was the daughter of Emilio and Adele Bocchio Posterli. She was co-owner of Powell's Superior Bedding and most recently employed at Gabriel Brothers. She was a member of St. Columba Parish, an avid bowler, and a 1958 graduate of The Rayen School. She is survived by son, James (Elena) Powell; daughter, Amy (David) Stroyne; son, Richard (Sandra) Powell II; daughter, Mary Alice Sinkovich; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Posterli. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard L. Powell whom she married Jan. 24, 1959 died June 14, 1998; a grandson, Tom Powell; and two brothers, Elio and Louis Posterli.
