Michael P. Cefalde Sr.

Austintown - Michael P. Cefalde Sr., born April 27, 1927 to Joseph and Laura Anzivino Cefalde of Youngstown, OH passed away in the early morning hours of Aug. 13, 2018. Mike was an avid baseball and golf fan, who particularly enjoyed the Cleveland Indians. He served in the US Army during WWII and retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube after 30 years of employment. Mike leaves his son, Michael (Jackie) Cefalde Jr.; his daughter, Mary Ann (Jojo) Pasquale; his grandchildren, Stephen (Becky) Wendt Jr., Michelle (Jayme) Yates, Jojo (Sherri) Pasquale, Michael Wendt, Michael Cefalde III, Tina (Douglas) Dallies, John (Becky) Cefalde, Anthony (Laurelin) Wendt, Lori (Steve) Genaro, Christopher (Rebecca) Cefalde, Robert Beshara; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Grace Cefalde Eliseo and was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan Turnbull Cefalde; his daughter, Laura Jean Beacham; his sister, Marie Grandstaff; and his life friend, Rose Pecchio. Family and friends will gather on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018 from 2-5pm for calling hours and on Monday, Aug. 20th at 10am for a prayer service given by Father Michael Swierz in Schiavone Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
