Michael J. Novello

Liberty - Private Funeral Services of the Episcopal Rite were held Wednesday November 29, 2017 for Michael J. Novello, 74 who died on Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Michael was born February 20, 1943 in Youngstown, a son of Joseph and Barbara Valcivic Novello. He was a self-employed owner operator steel hauler for 23 years and retired after 12 years with Gasser Chair Company. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1962, was a U.S. Army veteran, and was a member of the William Farr Masonic Lodge #672. Michael is survived by his wife, the former Roberta Rish whom he married November 16, 1963; a son, Joseph Novello; two daughters, Kim Tarleton and Sherry Rold; grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Michael, Cheyenne, and Noah; a great granddaughter, Madalyn; a sister, Darlene Mounts; a brother, Jim Novello; step granddaughters; step great granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dan Novello. Material gifts can be sent in Michael's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
