Canfield- Patrick entered into eternal rest on Thursday Dec. 6, 2012 at 9:30 A.M., about four and a half years after a brave battle with Lung Cancer. Patrick was born April 26, 1952 in Youngstown, the son of Patsy and Elizabeth (Baudile) Del Bene. He was a 1970 graduate of Chaney High School and graduated fron Youngstown State University with a bachelor in science and applied science degree. He worked for Sharon Steel and J&L Specialty in Louisville, Ohio as a computer programmer and analyst. Patrick enjoyed fishing and bowling in his younger years and always enjoyed decorating for Christmas and celebrating it with his family. His love of Christmas lead to a Santa Claus and Dickens collection. He also loved music, especially the Beatles. Patrick is survived by his parents, his sister Denise (John) Butler, his neices Natalie and Lindsey Welsh, an uncle John Del Bene, and aunts JennieBart, Margaret Lattanzi, Helen Latronica, Nancy Ponzio, and Theresa Baudile, his many cousins and his beloved dog Chopper. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, many aunts and two cousins. His family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for their wonderful care along with Dr. Thomas Detesco, Dr. Sharon Wagamon and staff, Dr. D. Singh, and Dr. Svenson and staff. Aprayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday with Reverend Michael Swierz presiding. An hour of calling will be held one hour before at the Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown.
