Boardman – A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday Evening Sept. 15, 2015 from 4-7 PM in Schiavone Funeral Home for Peter M. Bugno, 43 who died Thursday. Pete was born Aug. 27, 1972 in Youngstown, a son of Robert Jerome Bugno and Debra Jean Patterson. He was self employed and enjoyed listening to music, reading, and socializing with friends. He was a member of the East Side Civic and Athletic Club, a 1991 graduate of Boardman High School, and a US Navy Veteran receiving the Navy E. Ribbon, First Good Conduct Award, National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and Meritorious Unit Commendation between 1991 and 1995. Pete is survived by his mother; Debbie Buccieri, two sisters; Amber Bugno and Jennifer Bugno, his daughter Zoe, grandmother; Irene Bugno, stepsister; Amy Shotts, a niece, and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Thomas Fortini from New Beginning Church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
