Richard D."Dick" Eddinger, 88
Diamond - Richard Dean "Dick" Eddinger born November 2, 1926 in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania went to be with his Lord Monday, April 13, 2015 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. Dick's loving wife Florence "Toni" Eddinger passed away in 2008 following 60 years of marriage. Dick served his country in World War II in the United States Navy aboard the USS Missouri. He was aboard the ship when the signing of the peace treaty ending the war took place. He leaves behind his six children to carry on his legacy of love; Randy and Delpa Eddinger of York, South Carolina, David Eddinger of Mansfield, Ohio, Karen Yerkey of Bedford, Ohio, Renee' Varkonyi of Diamond, Ohio, Dale and Lori Bolen of Phoenix, Arizona, and Tracy and Michael Volkert of Kent, Ohio. Dick also leaves 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He made everyone feel like family and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave. Lake Milton, Ohio 44429.
