Liberty - A private funeral service will be held today, Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 at Schiavone Funeral Home for Richard Lee Shook, 70 who died Thurs. at his residence. "Shookie" was born June 30, 1945 in Ashtabula and was the son of Homer and Ruth Moore Shook. He was an auto mechanic having worked at Paz Ford, Miller Towing, and for the City of Girard Street Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the I.F.H., the A.R.C., and the Eagles. Among others he leaves his companion Charlotte Fuller and her family and was preceded in death by his parents. Per Richard's request, there will be no calling hours.
