Roger W. Torella, 86
Lowellville – Roger Torella, 86 passed away Saturday, February 14, at his home. He was born on June 9, 1928, the son of Adeline D'Onofrio and Roger Torella and grew up and resided in Lowellville all of his life.
He spent 40 years there running the family grocery store, Torella's Market. He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish and dedicated the past 14 years volunteering his time supporting the Spiritual Director at the Assumption Village Retirement Home in Boardman.
Roger is survived by a sister, Nellie Herberger of Winchester, Va., and his nephew William Herberger of Herndon, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Lena, Irene, and Ida and brothers; Dominic E., James W., and Sam J. Torella. A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date.
