Rose Marie Nardella, 90
Youngstown-Rose Marie Nardella, 90, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Hospice House. She was born June 9, 1922 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Congetina Julian Cataldo. Rose was a lifetime member of St. Rocco's Church, where she sang in the choir and served on the Alter Guild. She was employed at Strouss, where she was a multiple award-winning salesperson throughout her career. She was also a member of the Liberty 55 Club. She enjoyed traveling, listening to opera, Frank Sinatra, and cooking delicious Italian dinners for her family. She will be lovingly missed by her two sons, James A. Nardella and Joseph Nardella; grandchildren, Renee (John) Svoboda and Julian Hase; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Nardella whom she married June 15, 1946; an infant brother, Patrick Cataldo; and her daughter, Carole Nardella Hase. Friends and family may gather on Wed Oct 24, 2012 from 5-7:30 p.m.at Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown. A funeral service will be held at St. John Episcopal Church on Wick Ave. Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Belmont Park Cemetery.
