Stephen J. Sheronovich

Boardman - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10am in St. Anthony of Padua Church for Stephen J. Sheronovich, 85 who passed away Friday, September 29, in Hospice House. Stephen was the son of John and Angela Sheronovich Sheronovich born on December 13, 1931. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years and was also a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran who served in the Korean War. Stephen was signed by the Cleveland Indians Organization while playing minor league baseball and was inducted into the Old Timers Hall of Fame. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Cardelein of 61 years, whom he married September 22, 1956; his sons, Raymond, Steven, and Robert Sheronovich; his daughter, Laurie Kikel; seven grandchildren; and his sisters, Margaret Schragal, Anna Marie Rohrbaugh, and Donna Dietz. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Siranovic. Calling hours will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, October 2, 2017 in Schiavone Funeral Home.
