Virginia M. Zucco, 93
Liberty – A prayer service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 in Schiavone Funeral Home for Virginia M. Zucco, 93 with Pastor Scott Hindel presiding. Virginia was born in Youngstown on May 22, 1921, a daughter of Edward and Ina Gregofy Fitch and the loving wife of Joseph A. Zucco Sr. whom she married on Jan. 29, 1946. They spent nearly 50 wonderful years as husband and wife. Virginia was a homemaker and worked in the steel mills during the WWII effort. She was very family oriented and loved playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included baking for family gatherings and trips to the casinos. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons; James P. and Anthony J. (Amy) Zucco, three daughters; Sandra (Roy) Randolph, Georgia (John) Schinker, and Virginia (Nick) Scutillo, 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 26, 1995, her parents, a son; Joseph Zucco Jr., a granddaughter; Jolyne Schinker, four brothers, and six sisters. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 and from 11am to 1 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014. Burial will be in Belmont Park Cemetery.
